CAO’s board is elected on a consensus basis at a special meeting convened by CAO member associations. The board heads a number of specialized committees, including:
1. Institutional Reform, Gender Equality, and Human Rights Committee;
2. Immigration, Integration and Legal Affairs Committee;
3. Economic and Social Affairs Committee;
4. Publicity and Youth Development Committee; and
5. Case Management Committee.
